The Board of Directors of Sonatel has announced the appointment of Mr Brelotte BA as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Sonatel Group.
Mr Brelotte BA will assume his new role on 1 August 2025, succeeding Mr Sékou DRAME, whose tenure concludes on 31 July 2025.
The Board expressed its sincere gratitude to Mr DRAME for his unwavering dedication and valuable contributions to the company’s growth since his appointment as CEO in 2018.
Bringing with him 24 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Mr Brelotte BA is currently Deputy Managing Director of Orange Middle East and Africa, a position he has held since 2022. He has spent the majority of his career within the Sonatel Group, holding a number of key leadership positions, including:

Mr Brelotte BA is an engineering graduate of École Polytechnique de Paris and École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées.
