WARIF Receives USAID Grant to Strengthen Response to Gender Based Violence in Nigeria

The Women at Risk International Foundation (WARIF) have been named one of the recipients to be awarded a grant by pathfinder International funded by United States Agency for International Development (USAID). This grant was awarded to strengthen the Response to Gender Based Violence in Nigerian. Pathfinder is a global non-profit organisation that focuses on reproductive health, family planning, HIV/AIDS prevention and care, and maternal health.

Egypt clamps down on social media with new law

Egypt’s parliament has passed a law giving the state powers to block social media accounts and penalise journalists held to be publishing fake news.
