Coinage Fund Management Ltd, an Africa-focused investment management firm, has received approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Nigeria to operate as a fund and portfolio manager, marking a key step in its plans to broaden access to professional wealth management across the country.
The regulatory approval enables the firm to offer tailored investment and portfolio management services to a wide client base, including high-net-worth individuals, mass affluent and emerging investors, as well as institutions and corporate organisations.
Coinage Fund enters the market at a time of growing demand for structured investment advisory services, as a significant share of capital in Nigeria remains underutilised or inefficiently deployed due to limited access to credible expertise.
