Major champion Francesco Molinari and Rolex Series winner Paul Waring have been confirmed among the headline names for the 2026 Turkish Airlines Open, set to take place at the National Golf Club in Antalya from 30 April to 3 May.
The tournament, staged within Regnum Hotels, marks the fifth and final event of the DP World Tour’s Asian Swing, part of the opening phase of the 2026 global schedule.
Turkish Airlines has served as title sponsor of the Turkish Airlines Open since 2013, helping to bring some of the biggest names in world golf to Antalya. Past editions of the tournament have featured leading players including Tiger Woods, Sergio Garcia, Tyrrell Hatton, Justin Rose and Rory McIlroy.
Molinari made history in 2018 by becoming the first Italian to win a Major Championship, claiming victory at the 147th Open Championship. The six-time DP World Tour winner has also represented Europe in three successful Ryder Cup campaigns in 2010, 2012 and 2018, securing the winning point at Le Golf National in Paris.
Waring, meanwhile, claimed his first Rolex Series title at the 2024 Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, a result that earned him dual membership with the PGA Tour. He will be joined in the field by Andy Sullivan and Alex Fitzpatrick, with Sullivan currently ranked fourth in the Race to Dubai standings.
Turkish Airlines continues to play a significant role in the development of golf at both professional and amateur levels. Since 2013, the airline has organised the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup, widely regarded as the world’s largest amateur golf tournament, with its most recent edition spanning 122 destinations across 83 countries.
