TECNO has celebrated Africa’s top digital creators at the TECNO Glory Night Awards, co-hosted with TikTok Live and the Confederation of African Football (CAF), marking a major moment in the brand’s growing partnership with the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Held in Morocco, the ceremony brought together influential creators from more than 20 African countries alongside AFCON football legends, media partners and TECNO executives. The event coincided with the launch of TECNO’s “Power Your Moment” campaign at AFCON, a theme that has resonated strongly with creators across the continent and inspired a wave of original, high-impact content powered by TECNO AI.
Now elevated to Official Global Partner of AFCON, TECNO used the landmark evening to spotlight creators whose work reflects creativity, authenticity and cultural influence. The awards recognised individuals shaping Africa’s digital storytelling landscape and reinforcing the connection between sport, technology and culture.
Throughout the night, five major awards were presented, each celebrating a different dimension of creative excellence.
The Moment Excellence Award honoured influencers who captured the emotional essence of “Power Your Moment” through authentic, resonant storytelling.

I'm proud to represent this vision and excited for what we'll build together.”
All winners were selected through the #MyPowerMoment campaign, a continent-wide call for photo and video submissions inspired by four themes: Power your Glory, Power your Rise, Power your Joy and Power your Creativity. Entries reflected moments of personal growth, joy and imagination, showcasing the diversity and depth of African digital culture.
Beyond the awards, TECNO curated an immersive product experience zone for creators and artists. Brand guides walked Nigerian singer Joeboy through the company’s latest devices, highlighting AI-powered photography and real-time editing tools designed to support on-the-go content creation in line with the “Power Your Moment” ethos.
A standout attraction was the TECNO AI 3D photo station, where KOLs tested enhanced low-light performance and portrait optimisation features. Many creators instantly shared behind-the-scenes content, turning the experience into live, social-ready moments.
At the TECNO AI Ecosystem showcase, influencers explored interactive demonstrations, including VR devices connected to the smart ecosystem and AI translation and summarisation tools on the MEGAPAD. These hands-on sessions illustrated how TECNO’s interconnected technology is designed to boost creative efficiency and expand digital reach.
The TECNO Glory Night Awards not only celebrated individual achievement but reaffirmed the brand’s long-term commitment to Africa’s creative economy. By aligning its technology with cultural expression at AFCON, TECNO continues to strengthen its engagement with creators and elevate KOL-driven storytelling across the continent.
As the evening drew to a close, the mood reflected collective pride in Africa’s creative momentum. While the night ended in Casablanca, the stories, images and moments sparked by the awards are set to continue shaping Africa’s digital narrative – proving that with TECNO, every moment has the power to become extraordinary.
