Radisson Hotel Group Surpasses 210 Global Signings and Openings in 2025

...Marks a Milestone Year of Accelerated Growth

Radisson Hotel Group has achieved a major milestone in 2025, surpassing 210 hotel signings and openings as the global hospitality giant continues its transformation into one of the world’s leading hotel companies. The achievement highlights the Group’s commitment to building a diverse portfolio that reflects the needs of today’s travellers and the priorities of tomorrow.

Elie Younes, Executive Vice President and Global Chief Development Officer at Radisson Hotel Group, said “The year so far has seen Radisson Hotel Group succeeding in our pursuit of excellence for customers and owners. Hotel openings have been carefully curated to what business and leisure travellers are seeking in 2025, and we have a very strong pipeline of hotel signings and anticipated openings.”

Expanding Footprint Across EMEA

In Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), Radisson Blu continues to reinforce its position as the region’s leading upper-upscale brand, with landmark developments across France, Germany, Türkiye, and Montenegro. Among its most notable projects is The Medlock at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium, a pioneering concept redefining the modern stadium hotel experience. Later in the year, Radisson Blu CDG Airport Terminal Hotel, Paris is set to welcome guests at one of Europe’s busiest aviation hubs.

France has emerged as a key growth market across the Group’s portfolio. The Radisson Collection brand, the company’s luxury lifestyle flagship, celebrated the grand opening of Cour des Loges Lyon, A Radisson Collection Hotel, and the signing of the historic Banke Opera Paris, which will debut in 2026. In Hungary, Radisson Collection Hotel, Basilica Budapest has marked the brand’s arrival, blending classic architecture with modern elegance. Meanwhile, the Radisson Collection Hotel, Berlin reopened in spectacular style, reaffirming the brand’s reputation for design excellence and sophisticated hospitality.

Global Momentum for Radisson RED

The Group’s lifestyle brand Radisson RED continues to make waves globally, with new openings and signings across the UK, Romania, India, the UAE, and Thailand. A highlight of 2025 is Radisson RED Oslo City Centre, the Group’s second Verified Net Zero Hotel, underlining its leadership in sustainable hospitality. In London, Radisson RED will debut near Liverpool Street Station in partnership with PPHE Hotel Group, while art’otel Rome Piazza Sallustio adds a bold, design-led property to the Italian capital.

Strengthening Brand Diversity with Radisson Individuals

Since its 2020 launch, Radisson Individuals has grown to over 100 hotels in operation and under development, offering flexibility and distinctiveness to owners and guests alike. In 2025, the brand expanded into France, Portugal, Germany, Malta, and Kazakhstan, with further signings secured in the UK, Poland, Spain, Greece, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, India, and the Philippines. To reflect its growing appeal, the Group introduced three new brand segments Premier, Boutique, and Retreats aimed at empowering hotel owners and enhancing guest choice.

Sustainable Growth and Market Leadership

The Radisson brand itself continues to evolve, with sustainability and innovation at the core of its expansion. The opening of Radisson Hotel Manchester City Centre, the Group’s first Verified Net Zero Hotel, marked a sustainability milestone. Radisson also entered new markets, including the Democratic Republic of Congo, Armenia, and Madinah, Saudi Arabia. In the UK, the brand is set to anchor Oxford United Football Club’s new all-electric stadium development, a benchmark in sustainable hospitality. Across the Asia-Pacific region (APAC), 13 new Radisson properties have opened in India, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Expanding Resort Portfolio

With leisure travel demand on the rise, Radisson Hotel Group has grown its resort portfolio to more than 160 properties. Recent signings and openings span Asia, Europe, and Africa from Radisson Hotel Cannes on the French Riviera to Radisson Collection The National Hotel, Brussels, and new resort destinations in Sri Lanka and India, including Radisson Collection Resort, Galle, and Radisson Collection Resort & Spa, Jaipur

APAC and African Growth Accelerate

The APAC region continues to drive significant growth. In China alone, 130 hotels have been signed or opened in 2025, bringing the pipeline close to 300 properties. Country Inn & Suites by Radisson leads the charge as the fastest-growing brand in China with a portfolio of 375 hotels.

India remains one of Radisson’s most dynamic markets, surpassing 200 hotels nationwide with over 130 in operation and more than 70 under development. The Group’s rapid expansion, including 59 new signings across 47 cities in just 18 months, positions Radisson to reach 500 hotels in India by 2030.

In Africa, the Group continues to expand in key markets such as Morocco, South Africa, and Nigeria while entering new ones like the Democratic Republic of Congo, Cameroon, and Zimbabwe. Recent openings include Radisson Blu Hotel, Kinshasa, Radisson Hotel Lubumbashi, and Radisson Harare, alongside growth targets of 30 hotels in Morocco and 25 in South Africa by 2030.

Concluding, Elie Younes said “As we look ahead, our goal is clear: delivering meaningful value to our owners, creating memorable experiences for our guests, and driving responsible growth that strengthens communities worldwide.”
