Emirates Expands London Heathrow Flights to 48 Weekly Ahead of Winter Travel Surge

Emirates is set to increase its London Heathrow schedule to 48 weekly flights starting 26 October 2025, adding six new weekly services to meet surging travel demand ahead of the winter season. The expansion builds on the airline’s existing six daily flights to Heathrow and is designed to give passengers more flexibility and convenience during one of the busiest travel periods of the year.

All current Heathrow services are operated by Emirates’ flagship Airbus A380, while the new flights will be served by the Boeing 777-300ER, offering more than 350 seats in First, Business, and Economy Class. The additional flights will run every day except Fridays.

The enhanced schedule is strategically timed to optimise connections through Dubai. Overnight departures from London Heathrow will offer seamless onward travel to destinations such as Durban, Phuket, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Jakarta. Travellers flying to London will also benefit from convenient connections from Ahmedabad, Lahore, the Maldives, Hyderabad, Chennai, Beijing, Shanghai, Bahrain, Dammam, and Riyadh.

Flight Schedule:

• EK41 will depart Dubai on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday at 13:40hrs, arriving in London Heathrow at 17:40hrs (Monday arrival at 17:45hrs).

• EK42 returns from London Heathrow at 22:35hrs on Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday, landing in Dubai at 09:35hrs the next day.

• On Tuesday and Saturday, EK42 departs at 21:20hrs, arriving in Dubai at 08:20hrs.

• On Thursdays, EK41 leaves Dubai at 12:55hrs and arrives in London Heathrow at 16:55hrs, with the return EK42 departing at 21:20hrs and reaching Dubai at 08:20hrs the following morning.

The airline’s growing UK network continues to strengthen, with Emirates set to operate 90 weekly flights across its London gateways by early 2026, including Heathrow, Gatwick, and Stansted. A new fourth daily flight to London Gatwick is scheduled to begin on 8 February 2026, operated by the airline’s newest Airbus A350.

By February 2026, Emirates will serve the UK with 146 weekly flights across London Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, and regional hubs including Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow, and Edinburgh.
