PwC Hires Edelman MD For Global Corporate Affairs Role

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) has appointed Edelman's London public affairs Managing Director, James Morris to the newly-created role of Director, Global Corporate Affairs and Advocacy.

Morris left Edelman after two years. Prior to Edelman, he was a partner and director of the London office of GQR, a research and campaign strategy firm based in Washington DC.

His 20 years’ experience across policy, strategic communications and opinion research includes a spell as a policy advisor in the UK Prime Minister’s strategy unit during Tony Blair’s premiership, as well as working for the Secretary of State for Climate Change.

Morris will report to PwC's global leader ofr corporate affairs and communications, Michael Stewart, who said: “James brings a unique combination of expertise and experience spanning public policy, campaigning, strategic communications and research, as well as a wealth of international experience. I am excited that James will be joining our corporate affairs leadership team as we evolve the work we do to help deliver on PwC’s purpose to build trust in society and solve important problems.”
