2019 Review: Top 10 Breathtaking Sports Moments

2019 offered sports fans around the world countless breathtaking moments.⁠⠀

Here are our top 10 sporting events in 2019:

1. It was an historic year for Captain America! Megan Rapinoe, co-captain of the US national team, strikes “the Rapinoe” after giving her team a 1-0 lead against France at the FIFA Women’s World Cup. From winning the World Cup to becoming a cultural icon to winning the 2019 Ballon d'Or, US soccer superstar Megan Rapinoe had a year for the ages.

2. In 2019, we experienced the biggest comeback in golf. Tiger Woods captured in a moment of immense joy after winning the Masters Golf Tournament, his first major title in 11 years.

7. US professional sprinter, Christian Coleman, after winning gold in the Men’s 100 Metres final at the 17th IAAF World Athletics Championships. Coleman became the sixth-fastest man in history after beating his personal best by 0.03 seconds.
