Former Airtel Ghana CEO, Lucy Quist Becomes New MD of Morgan Stanley UK

Lucy Quist, former CEO of Airtel Ghana, has been appointed the Managing Director and Head of Change Leadership at American multinational investment bank and financial services company, Morgan Stanley, United Kingdom.

Lucy in 2014 made headlines as the first Ghanaian woman to be appointed CEO of a multinational telecoms business. As CEO of Airtel Ghana (now AirtelTigo), she repositioned the company into the fastest growing telecom business and industry leader in data and digital services.

She was recently the Vice President of the FIFA GFA Normalisation Committee.

Quist recently launched a book “The Bold New Normal” which is an actionable idea under which she advocates for Africans to take bold actions towards African prosperity.

She began her illustrious career with Ford Motor Company, spending a decade with the company in many roles. She also worked as a Change Manager for the Royal Bank of Scotland, playing a key role in the ABN/AMBRO merger.

Lucy graduated with a first class degree in electrical and electronic engineering from the University of East London. She also has an MBA from INSEAD.
