The BrandCrunch Learning Sessions, a landmark development in the industry kicks-off 9:30 today, Thursday, 8th August, 2017 at the Renaissance Hotel, Ikeja with Bayo Adekanmbi, Chief Transformation Officer, MTN and Steve Babaeko, CEO, X3M Ideas doing justice to the theme of the event- “Marketing in the era of Big Data: the Changing Paradigm”.

According to the Convener and publisher of BrandCrunch, Mr. O'Lekan Babatunde, "The essence of this (session) is to keep the industry at the fore-front of innovation, developments and trends in marketing and related industries just as to continuously task and keep our numerous readers and followers on the cutting edge of business especially as it relates to marketing."

"Our 6 years plus in the industry and an earlier 13+ on the beat distinctly place the Brandcrunch as the platform with the news and the ability to bring a new order courtesy our professionally sound and savvy news contacts and sources", he said in his released speech.

The BrandCrunch Learning session with its maiden edition brings together industry leaders and players across the client and agency divides as well as the media in a semi formal an interactive session that discusses and tries to proffer solutions to some nagging industry issues.

The theme for this first session is thoughtfully selected by the board of editors as the new global order in marketing is “Data; Big Data”.  Therefore the session will focus on: “Marketing in the Era of Big Data: The Changing Paradigm”. Globally, body of knowledge is being generated; marketers in Nigeria need to join the conversation, share knowledge and deploy new knowledge and relevant learning in providing marketing solutions to corporate organisations and brands.

There is no better a time than now that the industry needs to share knowledge, it’s the era of “sharing economy”, the Nigeria’s  marketing  industry should not be caught napping as especially as the era of big data dawns on everyone.
