Pressure Heightens In Episode 5 of Airtel The Voice Nigeria

Contestants in the on-going Blind Audition of Airtel's The Voice Nigeria must brace up and step up their game if they want to make it to the next stage of the competition as coaches draw the curtains on team selection.

The episode 5 of the show, which will be aired on Africa Magic Showcase (DStv Ch151) and Africa Magic Urban (DStv Ch153) by at 8:00 CAT, will see more talents put in extra effort in their performances to ensure they impress the Coaches.



The episode 4 of the show featured outstanding singers such as: Sandra Osamor, Oluwole Olusi, Nwando Okoli, Glory Amanyi, Kessy Mbonu, Shapera Makepeace, Victor Thompson, and Blessing Isaac.

The biggest moment of the episode was Sandra's rendition of Nigeria's national anthem. Her strong euphonious voice inspired patriotism and earned her a place in #TeamTimi. She also got a resounding applause from the audience and standing ovation from the coaches as well.

The Coaches are filling up their teams each week and with the Teams almost at full capacity at this stage. At the episode 4, #TeamYemi now has a total to eight. #TeamTimi added three more talents: classical singer, Sandra Osamor, Nwando Okoli and Victor Thompson – making nine talents on his team.

Waje only added two talents to her team - primary school teacher, Glory Amanyi and 30 year-old Shapera Makepeace. Waje now has only seven talents to her team. Patoranking only added two talents on the night - Kessy Mbonu and Blessing Issac - took his team total to eight.
