Wiltrend Services Receives Adoption By Nigeria-Worldbank Under Its MSME/Gem Project

World Bank in conjunction with the Nigerian Government has selected Wiltrend Professional Services Limited as MSME with potential for growth and ability to create massive employment in Nigeria.

Wiltrend Professional Services which recently won the World Bank BigPortal Program selection for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) is an indigenous IT firm with proven expertise in design, installation and management of integrated safety and security systems for domestic and industrial facility as well as general IT system supports.

The BigPortal Program is a developmental initiative of World Bank implemented under the Federal Ministry of Trade and Investment (FMITI) in line with joints aspiration to diversify Nigeria economy, support sectors that have potential for growth and sustainably increase number of jobs. With this adoption, Wiltrend will have access to a wide range of BIG Services including Consulting, Training and Grants.

Speaking about the initiatives, CEO, Wiltrend Professional Services Mr. Aremu Olawale Williams affirmed their commitment as corporate IT firm to development of locally-made but globally competitive IT solutions especially within the domain of security and fire safety systems. He further extended his appreciation to the Federal Government and World Bank for their supports, selection and identification of the firm as key contributor to economic growth and employment creation agenda of government.

Wiltrend Professional Services Limited offers security system consultancy, installation and maintenance, CCTV, automated gates, Access Control, Fire Prevention and Control System, Intercom PABX as well as general IT System development and supports. “We believe in simplifying workplace processes through deployment of potent IT solutions, securing lives and property of our customers and creating a safe environment for businesses to strive through effective deployment of standard security monitoring and surveillance systems’’ he added.

The GEM project is an initiative of the Federal Government of Nigeria in conjunction with World Bank to provide direct support to the “Business Innovation and Growth (BIG) portal platform” which is the primary means of interaction between the project and its beneficiaries. The project became effective in July 2013, and will close in September 2018.  The project focuses on manufacturing and service sectors, specifically supporting ICT, entertainment, tourism and hospitality, light manufacturing, agro-processing industries and construction.
