American rapper wants to be Twitter's new CEO

Now that Twitter has announced that it’s current chief, Dick Costolo, will step down next month, American rapper ‘Snoop Dogg’ took to Twitter to announce that he’s ready to lead the company as its new CEO. The tweet generated about 2,000 retweet when BrandArena as at the time of where this post.

Jack Dorsey will serve as interim CEO until a more permanent replacement steps in. The company is yet to retain a search firm to find Costolo’s replacement but out of nowhere,

Last year, investor Peter Thiel criticized the company, saying it was mismanaged and there was “probably a lot of pot smoking going on there.” Snoop might be a good match after all.

He started his own #SnoopforCEO hashtag showing he could be potential candidate for the position and trust the Twitterverse to blow things out of proportion with jokes.

Twitter has yet to respond to Snoop’s campaign through their @twitter handle but we all know the rapper is probably kidding, at least let’s enjoy the moment.
