Media Personality, Funmi Iyanda Becomes UN Ambassador

Popular media personality Funmi Iyanda has joined the list of Nigerians with the UN Ambassadors title. She has been named as one of the UN Women Gender Equality champions.

As a woman who has always advocate for fair treatment of the female in the society, Iyanda will help promote and propel women empowerment and equality in Africa.

The former New Dawn TV show host is a role model to many women in Africa and beyond.

She was recently named one of 2015’s 20 Youngest Power African Women by Forbes magazine, and also as one of the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders.
