Dotun Akande is new Vlisco Brand Ambassador in Nigeria

Mrs Dotun Akande, the founder and proprietress of Patrick Speech and Languages Centre, has been chosen as the Vlisco brand ambassador for 2015. She beat two other nominees Mrs Itoro Anaba, Founder of Mirabel center, and Mrs Tolulope Sangosanya, Founder of Lots foundation, to emerge as Nigeria's 2015 Vlisco Women’s Month Award winner.

The award is part of the celebrations, honours the outstanding achievements of West and Central women by identifying and rewarding those who inspire others to realize their dreams.

As an Ambassador of Vlisco she will represent the brand in public events, play an important role in various brand activities throughout the year and most importantly she will further inspire women in Nigeria via (social) activities in and outside her network.

Mrs Akande takes over from the 2014 ambassador, Mrs Adesuwa Onyenokwe.
