Bluebird Communications Ltd is recruiting to fill the position of General Manager, Digital Media. 

Job Description
Applicant would drive the Digital Marketing arm of the Group by critically producing applicable strategies with adequate results. Applicants must have a sound knowledge of the digital landscape globally and the way forward in this area.

Roles & Responsibilities

The candidate would be responsible for managing a start-up digital sub-company. This involves developing and supervising the execution of strategic digital media and digital initiatives, including developing and managing viral marketing campaigns, creating and supervising high-profile channel accounts, and integrating interactive social/digital media into the overall business strategy.

Requirements 

- Qualification in communications, marketing or a related field with not less than Second Class Upper division

- Minimum of 3 years work experience including online, interactive marketing experience and especially work experience with an International Digital Agency.

- Experience in marketing or public relations including demonstrable social/digital strategy, engagement and networking experiences.


- Implementation of media planning and buying strategies within the advertising industry; and a strong familiarity with online marketing best practices

- Extensive knowledge of analytics and web strategy execution; and familiarity with online branding, media and campaign management, online search, cross-channel strategies etc.

- Basic knowledge of graphic designing and App development,

- Has a flare for Creativity and Innovation

- Excellent team player.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Intuitiveness and attention to details.

- Ability to build effective relationships with Management and employees in all levels of the firm.

- Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.

- Ability to stay calm when faced with difficult situation.

- Excellent people management skills.
