White And Gold Version Of #Thedress Sold For $2,001.52

A white and gold version of the dress that took the internet by storm last month has now been sold to a businessman from the Czech Republic, Tomas Petru on ebay for approximately £1,356 ($2,001.52), according to emerging reports.

The dress, made by Roman Originals, "is being made only once and will not be sold by us to the public," according to the eBay listing.

The original black and blue lace dress which created the internet sensation divided the world about what colour it actually was. The two version are also for sale on Amazon, and Depop.

Petru reportly bought the dress for his wife. The auction benefited Comic Relief, a charity in the United Kingdom.
