Boxer Anthony Ogogo Signs With Nike

Olympic medalist Anthony Ogogo has agreed an endorsement deal with Nike, becoming the first British boxer since Frank Bruno to sign with the brand.


The 25-year-old, is currently undefeated as a professional boxer since he signed with Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions last year.

Exact terms of the contract were not released by either of the party involved in the deal.

Ogogo said of the deal: ‘It is an honour for me to sign with Nike and I am very proud to do so. They are the elite sports brand and are the best of the best – which mirrors everything that I hope to achieve in my career... This is an exciting time for both me and British boxing as a whole and I’m very excited to begin working alongside Nike.’


“Anthony is one of Britain’s top prospects and we believe he will go onto to become one of the best middleweights in the world. We look forward to an exciting relationship with Nike”, said Dean Baker, the head of boxing at Ogogo’s management company Wasserman.


Ogogo also represents Maximuscle, Subway and Coca-Cola.
