British Airways Offers Customers 50% off ‘Companion Fare’ to UK, Europe, North America

Due to popular demand, leading global airline, British Airways has announced the reintroduction of its ‘Companion Fare,’ a special promotion that affords customers the unique opportunity to purchase a ticket for their companion at a very amazing discount rate.

The airline had introduced the offer in May this year, with great reviews from customers. Then the airline offered customers the opportunity to purchase a ticket for their companion for just $50!

The latest offer which is available for trips to the United Kingdom, and select destinations in Europe and North America, comes hot on the heels of the just ended ‘Independence Anniversary Special’ offer which gave the airline’s customers the opportunity to travel at special discount rates to London, the United Kingdom, and selected destinations in Europe and the United States from Lagos and Abuja.

Giving details of the new offer, British Airways Country Commercial Manager for West Africa, Mr. Kola Olayinka stated that the offer which is aimed at promoting the spirit of companionship among its customers will be available for sale until October 31, 2013. To take part in the offer, he explained, the customer pays the current fare, but pays only 50 of the fare for his or her companion on the flight.

According to him, with the offer which is available on the World Traveller, World Traveller Plus and Club World cabins,  customers can now extend to their companions or loved ones, the opportunity to experience the unparalleled service within the luxurious ambience of British Airways cabins at up to 50 per cent less the fare.

He disclosed that outbound travel for the offer runs from November 1 till December 6, 2013. All fares, he added, are exclusive of all surcharges and taxes, and subject to availability. Both passengers must also be booked together and travel together.

Olayinka said the that tactical offers enabled the airline to encourage travel when there were seats available, but advised customers to book quickly as the special fares were likely to be popular. He advised customers to contact their travel agents for more information or call the British Airways Call Centre on 08002-222-557.
