Nokia introduces Lumia 625 in Nigeria, Lumia 925 in East Africa

Just few days after Nokia introduced Lumia 625 smartphone to Nigeria in partnership with leading telecommunications service provider, MTN, the company yesterday announced availability of the Lumia 925 across East Africa.

Speaking at the launch in Lagos, Sales Director, Nokia Middle East and Africa, Patrick Dravet, highlighted that the wider screen means that consumers can enjoy more with their Nokia Lumia 625, including multi-media content. In addition, the brilliant 4.7-inch IPS touch display with 800 x 480 pixels resolution, gives users a fantastic experience while playing games, watching movies and surfing the internet. The Lumia 625 also features a 5 megapixel camera with full 1080p HD video recording, autofocus, LED flash as well as a front facing VGA Camera and 1.2GHz dual-core processor.

He also stated that the device comes with the trademark Carl Zeiss lens and Nokia Smart Camera technology. This enables users to take a sequence of photos and then select the best shots by deleting unwanted objects or selecting the best facial expressions to create the perfect group shot.

The Nokia Lumia 925 introduces a metal design and showcases the latest PureView camera innovation, new features and third party applications coming to the Nokia Lumia range. It includes the most advanced lens technology and next generation imaging software to capture clearer, sharper pictures and video, including the best low light images.
