Investment guru and mega-billionaire, Warren Buffett, has joined social site, Twitter adding to the numbers of the world's most influential personalities on the site.
The 82-year-old made his debut on social network and sent his first message on Thursday. He has had over 260,000 followers in his first 18 hours.
His second tweet from the @WarrenBuffett account was a link to an article on "why women are key to America's prosperity". Currently, Mr. Buffett is yet to follow any other Twitter user(s).
Forbes rates Mr Buffett as the world's fourth richest person, with $53.5bn (£34.4bn). His philanthropic gesture remain one of the most notable one.
