Airtel Introduces New Packages for Postpaid Subscribers

Riding on its promise to provide more value to all subscribers on its network and aware of the critical role the SMEs play as the engine of growth in any economy especially in the country, telecommunications giant, Airtel has launched a new package designed for corporate organisations, SMEs, postpaid individuals and Blackberry users.

The new package was introduced to improving the performance of big businesses, empower SMEs and High net-worth individuals to achieve their goals of which communication plays a critical role through the innovative and affordable telecom service.

According to the company, each comes with its own unique voice, SMS, and data tariffs, and free talk minutes, SMS and data of up to 1GB available, while customers under a Close User Group (CUG) of 100 staff and above can make Airtel to Airtel calls for 17k/sec and 25k/sec to other networks, the plan has been split into two ways for the Small and Medium Enterprise (SMEs) namely SME Plus and SME Pro with both the tariff of both plans discounted in voice (including international calls) for 17k.sec and 30k/sec to other networks, SMS and data, in addition to free airtime, complimentary data and up to 30 free SMSes. The brand who revolutionised innovation and affordability by launching 2good, 2good Extra, Big Family, 2SIMs and Wazobia Recharge, which are all groundbreaking tariffs and plans for its prepaid subscribers, has this time set out to introduce a cutting-edge offer for the postpaid subscribers.

The new package, which offers tariffs including generous data volumes, will make it possible for Airtel customers on the postpaid platform to communicate freely with ease and use their data enabled devices without burning holes in their pockets. For corporate organisations to benefit from the latest offer, three distinctive categories namely, Corporate Plus, Corporate Pro and Corporate Premium have been created.

Under the retail or individual category, there are four different plans; the Advance plan (annual), Intermediate plan (monthly), Basic and Family plans and this makes it is possible to make calls at 15k/sec for Airtel to Airtel and 25k/sec to other networks. Also, free calls, SMS and data as well as up to 150 free CUG minutes is available on this package while BlackBerry users are not left out of the package as the company is offering heavy discounted monthly subscription in both the enterprise and internet services with free CUG Airtel to Airtel airtime.
