Julius Berger Appoints New Chairman

Following the announcement of a strategic change in its board of directors, engineering construction company Julius Berger Nigeria Plc, has formally appointed Mr. Mutiu Sunmonu as its new Chairman.

Sunmonu’s appointment took effect from April 1, 2016.

Outgoing chairman AVM Nurudeen Imam who had served on the board of the company for more than sixteen years thanked the company for the opportunity given to him to serve. He also described Sunmonu as “an energetic member of a younger generation whose trajectory looks good and set to improve upon the achievements of generations of past leadership of (the) Company”.
