PRISA opens applications for PRISMS Young Voices 2026 to nurture Africa’s next generation

The Public Relations Institute of Southern Africa (PRISA) has opened applications for PRISMS Young Voices 2026, inviting communications professionals and final-year students under the age of 30 to take part in one of the sector’s leading initiatives for emerging talent development.

The programme seeks to provide young professionals with first-hand exposure to the strategic thinking, leadership and innovation shaping the future of public relations across Africa.

According to PRISA, public relations has always been rooted in perspective - the ability to transform fragmented moments, shifting realities and complex conversations into compelling stories that influence industries, organisations and society.

PRISMS Young Voices was created to bridge the gap between emerging talent and established industry leaders by offering selected participants access to the PRISMS judging environment, award-winning campaigns, mentorship opportunities and senior-level industry engagement.

The initiative is part of the 2026 PRISMS Awards, which will be held under the theme, Kaleidoscope: Patterns of Impact Across Past, Present & Future. The theme reflects a communications industry increasingly shaped by evolving media landscapes, cultural shifts, technological advancement, creativity and changing patterns of human behaviour.

As the communications profession continues to evolve amid growing digital influence, artificial intelligence-driven engagement and changing audience expectations, PRISMS Young Voices aims to identify and nurture a new generation of communicators capable of crafting impactful narratives across the African continent.

“Communications is evolving rapidly, and younger professionals are increasingly influencing how brands, organisations and institutions engage with society,” said Thabisile Phumo, Chief Judge of the 2026 PRISMS Awards. “PRISMS Young Voices creates space for emerging talent to get meaningful exposure to the standards, thinking and strategic work shaping the professional today. We want to create access, build confidence and help develop the next generation of industry leaders.”

PRISA said successful applicants will benefit from mentorship and networking opportunities with industry professionals, exposure to award-winning campaigns and the PRISMS judging process, professional development opportunities and deeper industry insights.

Participants will also gain increased visibility through PRISA and PRISMS communication platforms, while joining a growing network of PRISMS Young Voices alumni.

  1. I wanted to take a moment to share my personal journey because I know how isolating and overwhelming it can feel to live with a chronic diagnosis like HSV-2. For years, I struggled with the physical and emotional toll this virus took on my life, and honestly, I had almost given up hope after being told by multiple doctors that there was no real cure. It was a dark time, and it deeply affected my confidence and my personal relationships. Everything changed when I stumbled upon a forum where someone shared their own experience with Dr. Kham herbal remedies. I’ll be honest—I was incredibly skeptical at first, having already tried so many things that didn't work. However, the sincerity in their story pushed me to reach out. From the moment I contacted him, he was professional and truly attentive to everything I had been going through. He guided me through the process of using his herbal regimen, and after following his instructions carefully, I was absolutely stunned to see such a positive turn in my health. Getting back to a place where I feel like myself again has been nothing short of a miracle. I am sharing this simply because I know there are others out there searching for answers and feeling like they have nowhere left to turn. If you have been struggling with health issues like HSV-2, HPV, HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, Lupus or other chronic conditions, I genuinely recommend reaching out to him. You can contact Dr. Kham Remedies via email at [ dr.khamcaregiver@gmail.com ] or send him a message on WhatsApp at (+248159922297). You can also visit his website at https://linktr.ee/doc_kham to learn more about his work. Please know that there is hope, and you don’t have to keep suffering in silence.
