Rite Foods Limited has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful in Nigeria and across the world as they celebrate Eid al-Kabir, urging Nigerians to embrace the spirit of sacrifice, gratitude, love and togetherness that defines the Islamic festival.
Eid al-Kabir commemorates the obedience and steadfast faith of Prophet Ibrahim, serving as a reminder of selflessness, compassion and unity, values that continue to inspire meaningful moments within families, communities and wider society.
Speaking on the celebration, the Managing Director of Rite Foods Limited, Seleem Adegunwa, encouraged Muslim faithful to reflect on the deeper significance of the festival by upholding the virtues of sacrifice, kindness and resilience.
He noted that beyond the festivities, Eid is a time for sharing joyful moments with loved ones, creating memories and strengthening bonds—moments the company said it is proud to support through its range of consumer products designed for different occasions.
Rite Foods highlighted its product portfolio, including the 13 variants of Bigi Carbonated Soft Drinks, Bigi Premium Drinking Water, Sosa Fruit Drink, Fearless Energy Drink, and its range of sausages such as Rite Spicy Beef Sausage, Bigi Beef Sausage and Bigi Flex Sausage, noting that these offerings are designed to complement celebrations and shared experiences.
The company’s Head of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability, Ekuma Eze, also called on Nigerians to continue embodying peace, generosity and unity during and beyond the Eid period.
“Eid al-Kabir is a period that reminds us of the importance of faith, sacrifice, and humanity. At Rite Foods, we remain committed to enriching everyday experiences by providing quality brands that bring people together around moments of happiness and celebration,” he said.
Rite Foods, a major player in Nigeria’s fast-moving consumer goods sector, is recognised for its focus on innovation, sustainability and social impact, with accolades from industry platforms including the SISA Awards, SERAS Awards and the Edge Awards.
