Samsung Electronics, a Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner, has unveiled its plans to enhance the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 by integrating mobile innovation and Galaxy AI across Games-time experiences.
As audiences increasingly experience the Games beyond a single venue or broadcast, Samsung is using its technology to bridge geographic and operational gaps. By embedding innovation into Games-time operations, Samsung aims to make Milano Cortina 2026 moments more connected for athletes, fans, and the broader Olympic community.

Dynamic perspectives at the Opening Ceremony: Galaxy S25 Ultra devices, supported by Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS), will capture immersive, real-time footage alongside traditional broadcast cameras, expanding coverage without disrupting production workflows.

Seamless communication for volunteers: Select volunteers will use Galaxy devices featuring Interpreter, powered by Galaxy AI, enabling fast, reliable translations on-site across multiple languages.

Support for officiating and competition monitoring: Samsung monitors will provide high-quality displays for Short-Track Speed Skating events, supporting operational needs and fair play.

Device charging for fans: Galaxy Charging Stations at key venues will ensure spectators can stay connected during long competition days.

Samsung House storytelling hub: A dedicated venue in Milan will showcase Samsung’s Olympic technology, offering interactive experiences and shared moments for athletes, media, and partners.

Opening Ceremony Live Integration
At the Opening Ceremony in San Siro Stadium, which will welcome over 75,000 spectators and more than 3,500 athletes from over 90 countries, Galaxy S25 Ultra devices will be positioned across dynamic locations — including stadium stands, athlete tunnels, and jibs above the field. This integration will provide immersive, on-site perspectives in real-time while complementing existing broadcast workflows.

Samsung’s technology also underpins the smooth operation of Milano Cortina 2026 across multiple venues. Volunteers equipped with Galaxy devices and Interpreter can communicate naturally with athletes, officials, and visitors, ensuring fast, reliable translations directly on the device.

Galaxy Charging Stations will help spectators stay connected throughout long event days, while Samsung monitors inside competition venues, particularly for Short-Track Speed Skating, will ensure accurate officiating and operational efficiency.
Samsung House: A Hub for Connection and Storytelling
Located in Milan’s historic Palazzo Serbelloni, Samsung House serves as a central hub to experience the company’s Olympic technology and storytelling. Activities will include National Olympic Committee nights, live competition viewings, and displays of the Victory Profile portrait series, offering athletes, media, and partners opportunities to share perspectives and celebrate the Olympic spirit.
Samsung House will also feature hospitality curated by Michelin-starred chef Enrico Bartolini, blending innovation with local culture. The hub opens on 4 February, remaining active throughout the Olympic Winter Games until 22 February, and reopening for the Paralympic Winter Games from 6 to 15 March as an invitation-only space.
