The Industry Newspaper, one of Nigeria’s leading brand marketing publications, has unveiled a new recognition platform titled Industry Men of Impact 2025, designed to celebrate the 50 most influential and reputable male practitioners across integrated marketing communications (IMC), entertainment, banking, telecommunications, entrepreneurship, technology, and energy.
The initiative joins the publication’s established programmes, including The Industry Summit and Awards and The Industry Women Conference, further strengthening its role in spotlighting excellence within Nigeria’s business and creative ecosystem.
Scheduled for Tuesday, 4 November 2025, the Men of Impact 2025 Awards will take place at Radisson Blu, Isaac John, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos, from 2 pm. Themed “Empowering Men: Achieving Balance in a Fast-Paced World”, the event will open with a panel discussion featuring industry leaders, followed by the official recognition and plaque presentation to the 50 selected honourees.
Explaining the rationale behind the inaugural list, Goddie Ofose, Editor-in-Chief of The Industry Newspaper, said the nominees were carefully selected by the editorial team in collaboration with senior brand and marketing journalists.
According to Ofose, “Men of Impact in the Industry are influential and accomplished individuals within the IMC sector and beyond, who are making significant contributions, driving innovation, and shaping the future of the industry.”
He noted that honourees include thought leaders, innovative marketers, entrepreneurs, award-winning creatives, strategists, industry advocates, and changemakers. Their influence spans areas such as driving business growth, mentoring talent, shaping industry policies, creating impactful campaigns, and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Ofose added that the initiative also highlights the importance of men’s wellness in professional spaces,“Celebrating male practitioners is essential. By showcasing men who embody healthy lifestyles, strong relationships, and emotional well-being, we can inspire younger professionals and encourage open conversations about men’s health and mental wellness.”
“Recognising these contributions also boosts industry morale and motivation, while breaking down stigmas that often surround men’s health.”
The full list of the inaugural Top 50 Men of Impact 2025 will be officially unveiled on Monday, 22 September 2025, at a media conference in Lagos.
