Transcorp Hotels Plc, the hospitality subsidiary of Transnational Corporation Plc (Transcorp Group), has announced a 60.07 per cent increase in revenue, rising to N47.6 billion in the first half of 2025, up from N29.7 billion recorded during the same period in 2024.
The company disclosed this in its unaudited financial statement for H1 2025, released as a corporate filing through the Nigerian Exchange Ltd on Friday.
According to the report, gross profit surged by 70.92 per cent, climbing from N21.19 billion to N36.2 billion. Profit before tax also grew from N10.5 billion to N12.2 billion.
Transcorp Hotels recorded a profit of N8.7 billion, an increase from N6.6 billion in the previous year.
Cost of sales rose from N8.53 billion to N11.36 billion, while operating expenses also increased, rising from N13.3 billion to N22.8 billion. Earnings per share (EPS) improved, growing from 65,000 to 85,000.
