LSETF, MAA Announce Strategic Alliance to Power 2025 African Martech & E-commerce Conference

The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) has partnered with Marketing Analytics Africa (MAA) to co-host the 2025 edition of the African Marketing Technology & E-commerce Conference (AMTEC), set to take place on Saturday, May 24th, 2025 at Landmark Event Centre, Lagos.

With the theme ‘Marketing in the New Economy: Data-Driven Success in Challenging Times’, AMTEC 2025 will convene top-tier marketing and technology leaders for a day of insights, strategy, and innovation. The event promises engaging panels, keynote sessions, and networking opportunities that spotlight how data, digital tools, and collaboration are reshaping African marketing.

In a statement made available to the media, the organisers of AMTEC said, “LSETF is committed to creating an enabling environment for entrepreneurs and job opportunities for Lagos residents to create wealth. They have partnered with Marketing Analytics Africa Limited for AMTEC 2025.”

LSETF, established under the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund Law 2016, was designed to provide financial support to residents of Lagos State, primarily to address unemployment and foster wealth creation. The Fund began operations with an initial capital of N25 billion from the Lagos State Government, later supplemented by funding from donor partners, development agencies, corporate sponsors, and individual contributors.

Reinforcing the conference's stature, a range of reputable brands have signed on as official partners for #AMTEC2025, including Colgate, Nutrify, Addmie, Indomie, Ladycare, DStv Nigeria, Dochase, Legit.ng, Cybertron, and Accret Experience. These partnerships underscore AMTEC’s growing influence as Africa’s premier martech and e-commerce platform.

Expected speakers include Chief Executive of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), Dr. Olalekan Fadolapo; Managing Partner at Open Squares Africa, Feyi Olubodun; Chief Marketing Officer at Sterling Bank Plc, Maurice Igugu; Colgate’s Head of Marketing, Tomisin Adetola; and Head of Sponsorship and Events at First Bank, Chinwe Bode-Akinwande.

According to Victor Ojeakhena, Co-Founder/CEO of Marketing Analytics Africa, the Africa Marketing Technology and E-commerce Conference is an annual event that unites industry leaders to explore the latest innovations in martech, e-commerce, data intelligence, and customer experience — all critical components for brands navigating today’s complex market environment.

Speaking on the significance of AMTEC, Ojeakhena emphasized the event’s focus on transformation, insights, and inclusion, with aims to: equip brands and marketers with leading-edge digital marketing strategies, highlight the role of data and technology in driving scalable growth, enable meaningful connections among professionals, entrepreneurs, and investors, and foster sustainable innovation across the continent.

AMTEC 2025 will begin at 9:00 AM prompt on Saturday, May 24th, 2025, at Landmark Events & Conference Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
