LG Showcases Smart, Sustainable HVAC Solutions at Mega Clima 2025

At Mega Clima 2025, West Africa’s premier HVAC exhibition hosted at Lagos’ Landmark Centre, LG Electronics is unveiling a suite of cutting-edge heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) innovations that emphasise energy efficiency, smart technology, and environmental sustainability. This bold showcase reflects LG’s commitment to healthier indoor environments and supports Africa’s rapidly transforming built landscape.

The company is presenting a wide range of advanced HVAC systems designed for both residential and commercial use. Central to the exhibition are intelligent heat pumps aimed at reducing carbon footprints and AI-powered industrial chillers that demonstrate LG’s focus on performance, comfort, and innovation.

A highlight of the exhibit is the Multi V™ series, LG’s flagship Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) system. This advanced system offers flexible, high-efficiency climate control for a broad array of building types, including office towers, hotels, retail spaces, and high-rise apartments. Featuring sophisticated inverter technology and intelligent load management, Multi V responds dynamically to real-time conditions, maximising energy efficiency while maintaining precise indoor temperatures. Its modular design and extensive piping capabilities make it a versatile solution for complex, large-scale projects.

Addressing rising concerns around indoor air quality, LG is also showcasing its lineup of industrial ventilation systems. The Industrial Multi Advanced Ducted Systems deliver strong airflow with quiet operation and adaptable duct configurations—ideal for multi-zone environments in both new developments and retrofits. LG’s Energy Recovery Ventilation (ERV) units help reduce energy costs by recovering heat from exhaust air to pre-condition incoming fresh air, easing demand on HVAC systems while ensuring a continuous flow of clean, filtered air. For expansive settings like hospitals, shopping malls, and industrial complexes, LG’s Air Handling Units integrate seamlessly with the Multi V to offer customised solutions for air circulation, temperature, and humidity control.

“Mega Clima 2025 offers us a platform to reaffirm LG’s leadership in delivering smarter, greener, and healthier building solutions across Africa,” said Joonkyu Song, General Manager of Eco Solutions, LG Electronics West Africa. “Our participation goes beyond showcasing products—it reflects our ongoing investment in the region and our belief that every space deserves intelligent, sustainable air systems.”

Further highlighting its long-term commitment, LG is promoting the LG Academy, an education and training platform created to empower HVAC professionals across Africa. The initiative offers practical technical instruction, certification programs, and access to international best practices, bridging the gap between innovation and skilled expertise.
