In a joint push for environmental responsibility, LG Electronics and Hinckley Recycling have kicked off a week-long electronic waste collection campaign running from April 15 to 21, 2025.
The initiative reflects both companies’ ongoing commitment to sustainability and responsible recycling.
Residents in Lagos are encouraged to dispose of unused or broken electronics, including monitors, laptops, tablets, printers, microwaves, blenders, electric kettles, and more. Drop-off points are located at 104 Obafemi Awolowo Way (opposite Access Bank), Ikeja, and Nelle Mall, 16 Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1, Victoria Island.
The collection centers will operate daily from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM throughout the campaign period.
“This partnership demonstrates our dedication to promoting eco-friendly practices and creating a cleaner, healthier environment for future generations,” said an LG Electronics representative.
The drive sets the stage for an upcoming sustainability forum, where influential Nigerian voices will gather to spotlight environmental innovation and the importance of responsible recycling. The forum is expected to fuel deeper conversations around sustainability across the country.
