Indomie Fan Club Calls for 2021 Registration of New Members

In line with its commitment to fostering social interactions among children and empowering future leaders, Indomie Fan Club (IFC), Nigeria’s largest children-based fan club by Indomie instant noodles, has kicked off the call for registration of new members into the club for 2021. Interested kids between the ages of 4 and 12 can register to join any of the three classes of membership which are platinum, gold, and silver respectively.

Prospective members are to pick up the Indomie fan club registration form from their schools, fill the form and return it to their school teachers. Upon submission of a duly completed form, a special gift pack will be delivered to each child after which they become certified members of the club.

The Indomie Fan club aims to engagee thousands of kids by providing a platform for them to express their creative talents and abilities. The club was founded in July 2005 to create a fun environment of learning, excitement, and bonding for children between the  4 to 12 age category.

Speaking on the rationale behind the club’s establishment, Indomie Fan Club National Coordinator, Faith Joshua, stated that beyond academic activities, children also require some form of social engagement to achieve all-round development. Hence, the creation of the Indomie Fan Club to provide an extra-curricular activity platform for kids.

According to Joshua, the idea behind the club is to stimulate, challenge, and expose the kids to educational activities outside the walls of the classroom. Benefits of joining the club include developing the kids’ skills through competition, taking educational tours, celebrating special days, as well as accessing amazing digital extra-curricular activities on their various platforms.

“Education is about fun and learning,  that’s why we created the Indomie Fan Club: an extra-curricular activity platform for kids between ages 4 -12. Since 2005, IFC has provided the opportunity for kids to participate in a variety of exciting passion-building activities such as singing competitions, craft competitions, excursions, kiddies festivals amongst others. which have helped build their mental faculty.”

Also commenting on the initiative, the Group Public Relations and Events Manager, Dufil Prima Foods Plc, Tope Ashiwaju stated that one of the many ways through which Indomie aims to engage with thousands of kids in 2021 is by expanding the fan base for IFC, noting that this will help provide an opportunity for more children to express their creative talents and abilities geared towards strengthening their mental development.

“Children are the future of any society or nation, and as a brand, we see it as part of our responsibility to ensure that they are engaged in activities that will aid their mental and physical development. The IFC aims toalso provide a platform for these kids to express their creative talents and  learn how to handle any life challenges,” he said.

At the moment, Indomie Fan Club has well over 100,000 members spread across different parts of Nigeria.
