Arsenal Becomes Official Formal Wear Partner of 424

Premier League Club Arsenal has signed an agreement with Los Angeles-based contemporary streetwear label 424 as its Official Formal Wear Partner.

The two-year partnership will see Guillermo Andrade’s label serve as the club’s official formal wear partner. The brand will design and create suits for Unai Emery, the first-team players, senior club staff, and for the first time, Arsenal Women. This is the first time 424 has entered the world of professional sports.

“This coming season a dream of mine will come true, as I have been invited to design the club suit for the players and senior staff of Arsenal FC, as the Official Formal Wear Partner, says Andrade. “We are also proud that 424 will design formal wear for the Women’s Super League champions, Arsenal Women, for the first time in the club’s history.”

Dutch Italian fashion house Cavallaro Napoli had previously filled the position of Official Formal Wear Partner to the North-London club since 2017.

Arsenal full-back Héctor Bellerín’s friendship with co-founder of 424, Guillermo Andrade, was key in the development of the replacement agreement.

Bellerin featured heavily across the club’s promotional announcement of its new sponsor.

According to Arsenal commercial director, Peter Silverstone, the reasons the club were keen to sign with 424 is because “their creative and innovative values match those of Arsenal Football Club and we look forward to collaborating with 424 to create exciting content and events to showcase their latest designs, whilst helping them reach a new audience and grow their brand internationally.”
