Barcelona Stretches Head & Shoulders

Spanish football giant, Barcelona FC have extended their partnership with shampoo brand Head & Shoulders Super Fresh Male Line -- becoming the club’s official shampoo in China.

The partnership between both brands also offers fans the chance to play the H5 Header Social Interactive Game, where users are able to feel what it’s like to play for Barça thanks to a technology that puts them virtually inside a match on the basis of the photos that they post.

“We are very pleased to announce our new partnership with Head & Shoulders Greater China,” said Xavier Aseni, commercial director at Barcelona. “Through this partnership agreement, FC Barcelona shall be able to continue building synergies with the brand to further increase its popularity in China, a strategic region for the club. H&S and Barça will be able to share their values of constant effort and passion for innovation in order to maintain their positions as recognised leaders in their respective markets.”

Sinan Yuksel, Head & Shoulders Greater China general manager, added: “H&S is the world’s number one leading dandruff shampoo and the most popular scalp hair care brand among Chinese male consumers, and it is committed to providing the most comprehensive solutions to scalp problems for all Chinese consumers who share the same championship spirit like FC Barcelona players. H&S will introduce the FC Barcelona spirit to China, supporting the growth of football practice in China, and allow more sports fans to experience the charm of football."

Barcelona came away with a domestic cup double last season, winning the Supercopa de España and the Copa del Rey. Despite a discomfiting start to their 2017/18 season, losing the Supercopa de España to rivals Real Madrid, the La Liga giants have since asserted their dominance, thumping Espanyol 5-0 last Saturday to make it three wins out of three so far in their new league campaign.
