On Friday, February 17, National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) unveiled a new logo of the institute to the visited guest at its 2017 investiture ceremony which took place at Eko Hotel and Suites in Victoria Island Lagos.
According to the Institute, the logo symbolizes a bond that unites all members together and it is part of the repositioning effort of the institute.
The new President of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), Tony Agenmonmen at the event restated the new executive to restructure the institute and ante up marketing professionalism among members.
“For us, the future of the institute starts now. We will be bold. We will be courageous. We will take some hard decisions. These will be necessary if we are to truly live the mandate given to us by our members. These will not necessarily come without discomfort for some. However, we will always be guided by the principle of doing the greatest good for the greatest number of our members.
“We do not at this time have a befitting secretariat. The current arrangement at the CMD is a product of circumstances. However, a restructured institute that is designed to be pride to all our marketing professionals cannot be located where it currently is, post-restructuring” Agenmonmen stated.
He explained that "by second quarter of 2017, a new structure, manned by highly professional employees, that compares with those of the very best professional institutes will be fully in place."
Immediate Past President of the institute, Aare Ganiyu Koledoye, in his remark, commended the effort of the executive and urged all members of the institute to give maximum support to take the instutite to great height.
