Premier League champions renew partnership deal with DHL

Premier League champions, Leicester City have extended its parternship with DHL as its official logistics partner for a fourth consecutive year.

The leading logistics player will support the English Midlands soccer club throughout their debut Uefa Champions League campaign, the International Champions Cup (ICC) pre-season soccer tournament and the defence of their Premier League title.

Having been Leicester City’s official logistics partner for the past three seasons DHL has seen the club through extreme lows and highs. They narrowly escaped relegation from the Premier League in the 2014/15 season but the following year, under seasoned manager Claudio Ranieri, they pulled of one of the biggest shocks in soccer history when they won England’s top flight by ten points.

Phil Couchman, the chief executive of DHL Express UK & Ireland said: “The Foxes are now a global brand, playing matches around the world, supported by fans on every continent.”

“We are looking forward to developing our partnership this season and supporting Leicester City with their international success.”

Ian Flanagan, commercial director of Leicester City said: “DHL has been a valued partner of the club for several seasons and we are delighted to renew our partnership with a blue-chip global brand.
