TechCrunch is coming to Lagos to organize one of its Meetup + Pitch-Off event with the aim of finding Nigerian startups for its Disrupt Conference in San Francisco.
In its Pitch-Off event, participants will have 60 seconds to explain to a panel of judges why their startup is awesome. The panel of judges will be made up of TechCrunch editors, local venture capitalists, and successful startup entrepreneurs.
According to the local event organiser, Toks Ogun, they’re looking for a few good startups to pitch at the event.
The goal is to bring the community together, get to know the amazing entrepreneurs in Nigeria, and get the word out about cool local startups.
