Lampe Omoyele Becomes New Managing Director, West Africa at Nielsen Company

Mr Lampe Omoyele has been appointed as Managing Director of Nielsen West Africa, replacing Mr Harshvardhan Sarda who will be taking on a new role in Nielsen.

The Africa Marketing Director – Family Nutrition at GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare, is an accomplished leader from Nigeria with more than 25 years’ experience, gained in top consumer goods and telecommunications companies across West and East Africa.

Mr Lampe Omoyele  will be based in Lagos, and will lead the teams in the region to provide your business with strategic knowledge and insights on building brands, optimising retail performance and delivering sustainable growth in the dynamic and emerging West African markets.

He was previously Marketing Director, Nutricima, Marketing Director-Segments at Zain Nigeria, and Marketing Director, Cadbury East and Central Africa.

Mr Omoyele is a Chartered Marketer (CIM-UK); Fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN); 2nd Vice-President, Advertisers Association of Nigeria (ADVAN); Member, Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria; Alumni of the Lagos Business School. Board and Faculty member, Orange Academy.
