AMVCA 2015 Winners' Reaction Social Media

Making a film is hard but making a film in Africa is so much harder and that is why the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) keep getting bigger and better as it gives credible recognition to oustanding performance in the continent.

The event which is in its third year is gradually becoming the African Oscars.

Eko Hotel and Suites, the venue of the Awards had in attendance many stars in the show biz such as Toyin Lawani, Derele Edun, Genevieve Nnaji, Kehinde Bankole, Kunle Afolayan, Alibaba, and Linda Ejiofor.

The award is an annual accolade presented by Multichoice recognizing outstanding achievement in television and film, voted on by the general public.

Kunle Afolayan’s October 1 was the biggest winner of the night, shared online:
"Officially we won in 9 categories out of 13 nominations. Best film, Best director, Best sound design, Best Makeup, Best Costume, Best Script, Best Lighting design, Best Lead actress, Best Production design. It's a winning team. "
