HTC One M9 to launch 1 March

HTC has announced an event called "Utopia in Progress" for March 1 in Barcelona at Mobile World Congress.

The company invited members of press, where it is expected to reveal is highly anticipated new flagship HTC One M9.


Rumour has it there will be a 13Mp front- and 20.7Mp rear camera on the new HTC One. The phone will be capable of 4K (UHD) video recording, too.

Official accessories for the HTC One M9 include: Active Headset, DotView, DecoStand Case, Clear Case, Active Case and Premium Screen Protector.

Portugese site 4G News reports that HTC will launch two M9s: a smaller flagship and a massive Max version. The larger device will supposedly sport a nearly bezel-free 5.5-inch Quad HD screen with a pixel density of 534 pixels-per-inch. It may be powered by the 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and 3GB of RAM, sport a 3000mAh battery, and 32GB of built-in storage. A 20-megapixel camera could grace the back of the phone, while a 4-megapixel UltraPixel shooter may face front. The report concludes the HTC One M9 Max will arrive in August or September.
