Homecoming Revolution London Expo 2014 Beacons

Kensington Olympia Conference Centre, Hammersmith Road, London, is to play host to the much anticipated Homecoming Revolution Africa LONDON EXPO 2014 which will hold on 15th and 16th March 2014.

The two day event organised by Homecoming Revolution, is for all skilled Africans Professionals in the Diaspora who are wondering if they should return home.

Originally established in South Africa as an NGO in 2003, Homecoming Revolution is now a commercial entity and has a footprint in the UK, USA, South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda and Kenya. It will also feature high profile guest speakers who will update, inform, educate and inspire participants on various issues relating to African business, economics, politics and future scenarios in South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda and Kenya.

Activities include global expos, local networking events, e-marketing activities and tailored talent search. Participants will have a chance of asking key questions, connecting with recruiters and businesses, hearing inspiring speakers, attending free practical workshops, and getting advice and insights on moving back home.

It event will feature many companies, recruiters and public organisations exhibiting jobs, schools, property, products, services, investments, services and entrepreneurial opportunities.

“Africa needs you and you need Africa. There are thousands of opportunities awaiting you in your homeland. Sub-Saharan Africa is poised for take-off, requiring strong leadership, top skills and job creation. Now is the time to find out the real situation back home, and to listen to the drumbeat of your heart,” says Homecoming Revolution.

Guest speakers at the event also include Nigeria's Tunde Ogunrinde, QSR Consult; Akinwale Ojomo, Diaspora Innovation Institute. Other speakers are: Isaac Fokuo, Africa Leadrship Network, Elvina Quaison, Silk Solutions Relocation; Frances Mensah Williams, Reconnect Africa amongst others.

  1. This is really good for Africa. Bridging the social economic gap between Africa and her children outside the continent is a good integration.
