The two-day event will bring together stakeholders and decision-makers to share knowledge of the African market while participating in the conferences and debates animated by experts of the industry.
This year will focus on the cultural stakes and their implications for brands and help in grasping the creative and multi-cultural future in line with the African emerging market.
Gold, silver and bronze medals are up for grabs continentally while agencies will jostle for the award of the two most prestigious trophies of the festival: the Advertisers Grand Cristal and the Leaders Grand Cristal.
Each region/country will receive a Gold, Silver and Bronze in the categories: Film, Press, Outdoor, Radio, Digital, Mobile, Promo & Direct, Integrated and Media. The regional awards represent an opportunity for all agencies to scan the best creative works of their region and to put forward the cultural specificities of the local advertising work.
In order to fulfill the expectations of professionals of the African advertising industry, the African Cristal Festival rewards seven regions/countries: they are Northern Africa, Eastern & Southern Africa, Western & Central Africa, Egypt, Nigeria, South Africa and the Indian Ocean.
Entries for the awards will end on the 24th of April, 2018.
The African Cristal Festival rewards the best advertising campaigns created and broadcasted over the African continent, on any media. It is recognised award recognized in local and international rankings. This year again, all the entries will also compete in the Regional Awards, rewarding the best creations in 7 regions or countries of the African continent, all media included.
It will be recalled that Nigeria had a great showing at the Cristal awards last year with Noah’s Ark and X3M Ideas carting away awards for impressive works done in the Nigerian market.
