P&G Partners With Jumia Kenya On Black Friday Massive Deals

Procter and Gamble (P&G) has partnered with Jumia Kenya to sell Pampers online and announced that it will be taking part in this year’s Jumia Black Friday scheduled for between 14th to 25th November.

Under the Black Friday offers, P&G will give a 50% percent discount on Pampers and other brands. For the first time, customers will be able to order these products online and benefit from the countrywide delivery network and the pay on delivery service that Jumia offers. Customers can also choose to pick up orders from Jumia pick up centres across Posta Kenya, G4S and Aramex offices countrywide.

Speaking at the MoU signing, Pampers Brand Manager, Mutune Kilonzo welcomed the partnership confirming the brand’s conviction to benefit Kenyan parents.

“We are thrilled to partner with the best online retailer in Kenya. Our aim is to make it easier for the parents in particular to buy Pampers in an affordable, easy and safe way. We have no doubt that this is going to be a great option for parents with babies” Said Mr Kilonzo.

Jumia has announced that it will start its Black Friday Sale eleven days earlier in a special program designed to allow shoppers take advantage of the thousands of deals lined up. Starting 14th November, shoppers can purchase Pampers at discounts of up to 50%.

Commenting on the partnership, Sam Chappatte, MD Jumia Kenya said, “The intention of this partnership is to continue to provide our customers access to the products they love most in a safe, secure and convenient way. This launch reflects our commitment to provide the widest possible assortment of quality products in Kenya. Pampers is a great brand, and perfect for our customers!”

Jumia will offer free delivery in Nairobi on thousands of small and medium items, including beauty, household products, fashion, mobile phones, laptops & TVs.
