WhatsApp Introduces New Camera Features on Android

Facebook-owned instant mobile messaging app WhatsApp on Tuesday introduced new ways to customise and enhance the photos and videos you share with friends and family around the world.

With WhatsApp's new camera features, people can now write or draw on photos and videos as well as add emojis to express themselves.

"Now, when you capture a new photo or video or share one which is already on your phone, you will automatically see the new editing tools," WhatsApp said in an official post.
The WhatsApp camera feature also supports the front-facing flash. This is especially useful as it brightens up users’ screen and also helps improve the quality of the picture. The update further comes with a zooming feature wherein users can simply slide their finger up and down to zoom in and out of the image or recording.

These new camera features will be rolling out on Android phones from today onward. As far as iPhone users are concerned, they will have to wait for some time for it.
