Manchester City have announced a new multi-year partnership with Revolut that will see the fintech firm become the official back-of-shirt partner for both the men’s and women’s first teams.
The agreement builds on an existing collaboration with Manchester City Women, which began in January 2025, and aims to bring finance and football together through new fan-focused experiences around the world.
Under the terms of the deal, the Revolut logo will appear on the back of the men’s team shirts in domestic cup matches and on Manchester City Women kits across Women’s Super League and cup fixtures, as well as on selected training wear.
Since the start of their partnership in 2025, the club and Revolut have already delivered a series of fan activations, including matchday takeovers at key Women’s Super League fixtures during the season.
The expanded collaboration will introduce further ways for supporters to engage with the club across men’s and women’s matchdays, supported by a calendar of experiences and brand activations.
The first initiative will be the launch of four co-branded virtual cards within the Revolut app, available to customers in the UK and across Europe from today, subject to terms and conditions. The cards are designed to celebrate a shared passion for football and strengthen Revolut’s ambition to connect sport with everyday finance.
Revolut Business will also be integrated into the club’s financial infrastructure to support operations and enhance the fan experience. This will include the planned rollout of Revolut Pay, the company’s secure checkout tool, enabling fans and customers to earn RevPoints when they spend.
Customers will also gain access to a range of discounts across multiple club touchpoints as part of the partnership.
Peter Laundy, Senior Vice President of Partnerships at City Football Group, said: “Since early 2025 – when Revolut marked their first investment in women’s football by becoming a partner of Manchester City Women – we have enjoyed working together to deliver special moments for our fans and Revolut customers.
“We’re incredibly proud to have expanded that relationship today and be the chosen partner for Revolut as the brand looks towards men’s football.
“Through this collaboration and the integration of Revolut expertise and technology, we’ll look to improve fan experience and operations and offer unique opportunities for future engagement with the Club.”
Antoine Le Nel, Chief Marketing and Growth Officer at Revolut, commented: “We’re incredibly proud to become the Official Back of Shirt Partner of Manchester City men’s and women’s first teams.
“Both Revolut and Manchester City are built on a shared DNA of high performance, infinite ambition and a desire to go where others have never gone before - and that’s why it makes sense to expand our partnership.
“We aren’t just putting our logo on a shirt; we’re integrating Revolut into the heart of fan experiences at the club, ensuring City fans enjoy the same fast, seamless and rewarding interaction with their football club as they do with their finances.”
The partnership marks a significant step in Revolut’s growing investment in sport, adding to its presence in motorsport, rugby and basketball as it targets further global expansion towards 100 million customers.
