Samsung Confirms 4 September Galaxy Event to Unveil New S25 and S11 series at IFA 2025

Samsung has officially confirmed its next major Galaxy Event, scheduled for 4 September 2025 during the IFA technology trade show in Berlin, where it is widely expected to unveil the Galaxy S25 FE and the new Galaxy Tab S11 series.

The announcement comes just weeks after the South Korean tech giant launched its Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 foldable smartphones in July.

In a press release, Samsung revealed it will host a live-streamed press conference at 11:30am Central European Time (10:30am UK time / 9:30am UTC), available on the company’s official website and YouTube channel.

“Join us on September 4 to discover a more seamless mobile experience across a wider range of devices — from premium AI tablets to the newest member of the Galaxy S25 family,” Samsung said in its statement.

The company added, “Be part of the reveal online and see how the next evolution of Galaxy sets a new standard for effortless productivity through multimodal capabilities.”

While Samsung has not confirmed the exact devices to be unveiled, the wording strongly hints at the debut of the Galaxy S25 Fan Edition (FE), a mid-range alternative to its flagship Galaxy S25.

Traditionally, Samsung introduces its FE handsets around six months after the main Galaxy S series launch.

The Galaxy S24 FE, released in September 2024 at £649, offered a 6.7-inch display, the same size as the premium S24 Plus, while being £150 cheaper than the standard S24 model.

Samsung is also expected to refresh its flagship tablet range. References to “premium AI tablets” suggest that the company will showcase the Galaxy Tab S11 series, likely succeeding the Tab S10 Plus and Tab S10 Ultra which were launched last September. Unlike those devices, which were unveiled separately from IFA, this year’s reveal signals Samsung’s return to leveraging major international trade shows for global product launches, a strategy it once employed at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Notably, the event is branded simply as a “Galaxy Event”, rather than the company’s well-known “Unpacked” series, underlining Samsung’s new approach to its product announcements.

  1. Exciting news! Samsung always brings something fresh to the table at IFA, and the Galaxy S25 FE along with the Tab S11 series sound like devices worth watching out for. I’m curious to see how they’ll improve performance and design this time around. It reminds me of how redex fuel system cleaner boosts efficiency in engines—small improvements can make a big difference in overall performance. Looking forward to the official reveals!
