JMG Limited, one of the integrated electro-mechanical solutions providers in Nigeria, has successfully completed a major power infrastructure project for the African Medical Centre of Excellence (AMCE) in Abuja, a flagship facility set to transform healthcare delivery across West Africa.
To support the operational demands of this world-class medical institution, JMG engineered and deployed a comprehensive energy solution. This includes six Mitsubishi 1800kVA diesel generators (Model S16R-PTA2) with a combined capacity of 10.8MVA; Legrand UPS systems totalling 1,400kVA for essential backup power; 4000A synchronisation and main LV panels, sub-main panels, capacitor banks, and complete internal and external electrical wiring for the facility.
Mahmoud Hamadi, General Manager, Electrical & Projects Division, emphasised the critical nature of the installation.
"Critical power is never an afterthought, especially in healthcare, where experience, precision, and flawless execution are non-negotiable. From the Mitsubishi generators to UPS to every power outlet, this system is built for excellence," he said.
As the official dealer of Mitsubishi diesel and gas generators in Nigeria, JMG supplied and installed all six Mitsubishi units for this project. These generators are globally recognised for their robust construction, fuel efficiency, and high reliability in demanding environments, ensuring a consistent and uninterrupted power supply.
JMG’s end-to-end delivery approach resulted in a fully automated, redundant, and dependable power ecosystem, empowering AMCE to maintain uninterrupted operation of life-critical systems from day one. The deployment sets a new benchmark for medical infrastructure in Nigeria.
With a reputation for delivering resilient energy solutions, JMG continues to serve as a trusted partner in powering Nigeria’s most critical sectors, particularly healthcare, where power continuity is vital.
