KFC Unveils First Immersive KFC Muse Restaurant in Dubai

KFC has launched its first-ever KFC Muse restaurant in Dubai, introducing an immersive dining concept designed to redefine the fast-food experience through innovative design, signature food offerings and enhanced hospitality.

The launch marks a new phase in the global chicken restaurant chain’s brand evolution, as it seeks to move beyond the traditional quick-service restaurant (QSR) model towards what it describes as a quality experience restaurant (QXR).

Scott Mezvinsky, Global CEO of KFC, said, "As we set the standard for the modern chicken QSR, we're disrupting conventions – moving from QSR, quick service restaurant, to QXR: quality experience restaurant. That's why we created KFC Muse, an immersive, kinetic restaurant that delivers the experience modern consumers are craving while retaining the value and efficiency QSR is known for. We chose Dubai to launch KFC Muse because it reflects the ambition we have to modernise the brand across the MENA region and beyond. And we're excited to bring KFC Muse to other culturally vibrant and trend-setting cities like Seoul in the near future."

The new concept places greater emphasis on hospitality and customer experience rather than operational efficiency alone, transforming conventional restaurant spaces into dynamic environments designed to adapt throughout the day.

Combining KFC's signature chicken offerings with a specialty drinks range, KFC Muse aims to give customers more reasons to visit, enjoy their meals and spend longer in the restaurant.

The company described the Dubai launch as the first step in bringing its QXR vision to life through iconic food, immersive design and exceptional hospitality, with the ambition of transforming familiar KFC offerings into a distinctive dining experience.

Following its debut in Dubai, KFC plans to open another Muse restaurant in Seoul by the end of the year. The two locations will serve as models for the global rollout and large-scale development of immersive, kinetic restaurant concepts as the brand looks to modernise its outlets worldwide.

This next chapter of KFC is designed around hospitality, not just efficiency, moving from static spaces to dynamic environments that adapt throughout the day. From KFC's most craveable chicken to a specialty drinks line, people have new reasons to choose KFC in a space designed to make them want to stay longer.

Following the opening in Dubai, a KFC Muse restaurant is planned to open in Seoul by the end of the year. Both restaurants will serve as inspiration for how KFC will build and remodel immersive, kinetic restaurants globally at-scale.
