Samsung has launched its latest Galaxy S26 smartphone range alongside the new Galaxy Buds 4 wireless earbuds at its Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco, placing artificial intelligence at the centre of its next generation of devices.
The new line-up includes the standard Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and flagship Galaxy S26 Ultra, all of which are available to pre-order now ahead of their official release on 11 March. The Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro earbuds will also go on sale on the same date.
Artificial intelligence featured heavily throughout the presentation, with Samsung highlighting its Galaxy AI platform alongside integrations with Bixby, Perplexity and Google Gemini to enhance everyday mobile experiences, from productivity to privacy.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra leads the range with premium specifications, including advanced display features such as Privacy Display, as well as upgrades designed to improve performance, battery efficiency and on-device AI capabilities. The wider Galaxy S26 family builds on these innovations, offering a range of configurations to suit different users.
Pricing for the Galaxy S26 series varies by storage and memory configuration. The entry-level Galaxy S26 starts at £879, while the Galaxy S26+ begins at £1,099. The top-tier Galaxy S26 Ultra is priced from £1,279, rising to £1,699 for the 1TB storage model with 16GB of RAM.
The new Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro bring updated audio performance and deeper integration with Samsung’s AI ecosystem, offering improved sound quality and intelligent features tailored to user preferences.
With pre-orders now open and global availability set for 11 March, Samsung’s latest devices aim to strengthen its position in the premium smartphone and wearable market by combining hardware upgrades with a growing focus on artificial intelligence.
